Thun Panorama

Located in Thun, Switzerland. 7.5m high by 12m diameter (38m long). Painted in 1814 by Marquard Wocher. The oldest existing painted 360 panorama. Depicting the city of Thun.

Bourbaki Panorama

Located in Luzern, Switzerland. Painted in 1881 by Edouard Castres, 10m high, 35m diameter. Features the internment of 87,000 soldiers of the French Bourbaki army, who fled to Switzerland in the winter of 1871.

Panorama 1453

Located in Istanbul. Painted in 2008, diameter 38m. Shows the conquering of the city of Constantinople, capital of the Byzantine Empire, by troops of the Ottoman Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror on 29 May 1453.

Murten Panorama

Located in storage. Painted during 1893-1894 by a team of painters lead by Louis Braun. It depicts the battle between the Swiss Confederates and their allies against the army of the Duke of Burgundy in 1476. Digital twin created in 2023/2024, Digital Twin Scanning Project.
